I want to make a PS for Dec 2 at 1900 Park Faire for breakfast. I was just on hold for close to 30 minutes with disney dining and I'm at work, so I finally had to hang up.

Do you all think I'll be able to get this breakfast calling later?
Today is the 90 day mark.

Is it really popular? I have not been in a while.

Also, does anyone know what is a good time to call?

Thanks!
Sheri

IMO, the dinner bookings fill up faster because it's a good alternative when you can't get CRT.

You should be able to book it later today. Lunchtime it usually when I'm able to get thru with little wait time.

I'd be very surprised if you have a problem booking this later, or tomorrow or even next week! Sure it's a character breakfast, but it's not one of the real 'hotties' :)

I made a dinner PS a week before our trip in August and i was able to get the time and day we wanted. Keep trying, you probably won't have a problem.

Though the PF breakfast does not fill up as fast, it can/will fill up. In Dec02 or 01 (can't remember which) we had made a PS before our trip for early in our trip and then tried to get a PS the day before our last day for a second visit - but there were none available.

So you have plenty of time now, but I wouldn't wait until you are there to make a PS.

I hope you have better luck than I did. I got up and called right at 7 am. by the time that wdw-dine, answered the phone, all seats for cindy's and 1900 and crystal palace were booked. THe only thing that they had was for Norway and that was going fast. I passed on Norway.

I thought the 1st week of dec. was always low attendance, but I have not been able to get 1 character meal that I wanted. I had to be very flexible with my time and dates just to get chef mic's.

No problem with the Ice cream social.

Which day were they all booked for?

I can tell you that the Park Fare breakfast was probably the best breakfast I've eaten in Disney...character or otherwise. The characters probably aren't the most popular, Pooh, tigger, Mary Poppins.....but the food was fabulous. I think the best for the value. We went on Mother's Day.

From what I can tell, it doesn't book terribly fast. I called to try for a PS for this breakfast about 50 days out and had no trouble getting a PS for 5 people and had several times to choose from. That was for a PS in late Sept, which is probably about the same crowd-wise as early Dec, if not a little worse than Dec.

I've been doing pretty well calling around 1 or so in the afternoon, but if you're working all day, I'd try on a Sunday afternoon or in the evening during the week. After the hurricane is passed of course.

Hope you get it!

Steph

We always eat there, breakfast and dinner on every trip. We've always booked a couple of days before and always got what we wanted.

Thanks all! I'll hold off then, and call so that I can make all my PS in one phone call. :)

I'm really looking forward to this one. Should be good!
