714-781-DINE for ressies

I think you can start calling 60 days in advance. The only way to guarantee a water table, and even then it might not be for sure, is to take the very first lunch res for the day, 11am I think, and then show up really early and ask for a waterside table. Good luck! The water side tables really make it a neat experience!

11:30 is the earliest reservation available. I think that I read somewhere (or saw it here!) that there are 13 waterside tables available.
We showed up at 11:00 to let them know we were there, and then had to wait until 11:15, when they will start signing people in. We had to stand around until about 11:25, when they actually started calling out names, and letting people into the waiting area.
It was worth it - we were the second or third table seated, and got a great waterside table!
I think that we made our ressies about 45 days out, for the Friday before Labor Day. The parks were not crowded that day, but I do know that the Blue Bayou was not accepting any *day of* reservations for that day by the time that they opened!

i had dinner here. We made the ressie for 8:00 & i checking in 30 before. But they told me that a waterside table was about 45 min. wait, even with the ressie. so i said forget it. I'm starving so we checking in about 15 min. before . it didn'ttake too long. service was wonderful. my salad was drenched in the dressing/oil. made it really hard to eat. I had the chicken w/ the potatoes & the veggies. IT was soooooo good.

I was sadly.. too full for dessert. But it gives me a reason to go back. lol

We had about the same experience. There were 6 of us and we were the first table seated. This is now the 3rd time we have waterside after getting tables elsewhere x 3. Best of luck.

Three of us had lunch, the other 3 had dessert. It is not a problem.

I've heard lots of people going just for dessert as well. Not me personally but it happens! Save room for the creme brulee - very fantastic!
