how far out to cancel Chef Mickey's?

Id like to make a PS for Chef Mickey's sometime during the week of 11/30-12/7 just in case we are stranded at Walt Disney World and our 11/30 cruise gets cancelled. What are the cancellation penalties?

Why would your cruise get cancelled? You can cancel Chef Mickey Reservations the same day as your scheduled to go. The problem is you will probably have a difficult time getting a ressie now. I know cause I tried to add one person on to our ressie and they had nothing available till 8:30 or 9:00 the 7th - 16th.

We also tried to get ressis for Chef Mickey's from Nov. 30 through Dec. 14 for 4 of us they said they had nothing available unitl 9:15. To late for us to be eating such a big meal. So good luck.

i just made a PS @ chef mickeys for dec 2. the cm says oh i don't have anything available for dinner. the only time open is 9:15. I was like PERFECT!! and She was like no, this is for dinner it's 9:15 PM. and I said yes thats what I want LOL. We eat around that time at home! I was soo happy to get the time we wanted!!

I booked Chef Mickeys for Dec 6 back in the first week of Oct and was only able to get an 8PM seating.
A bit late for me, but due to my itinerary, I took it. I love that place.

CM is one of those places you must book real early.
