How far out can you book?

In January of 2008, can you book for all of 2009? How many months in advance can you book?

For room only you can book 499 days out, if you are planning on a package with tickets and dining for 2009 you will not be able to book until the 2009 packages come out, probably around July or August of 2008.

Is it possible to book room only at 499 days...then at a later time convert to packages and package prices?

Yes, you can book a room only reservation at 499 days out and then convert it to a package when the packages are released.

I booked a room only for DH and I and when the packages came out I was able to call and change it to a package, BUT they cancelled the room only and then booked the package. Apparently, the room only ressies are in a different "system" than the packages.
They were not able to transfer our deposit...they had to credit our card and then once that hit I called to do the deposit on the package. The refund was really quick, IIRC.

that's good to know - 499 days out - we usually book the next year's trip the day after we return home, but if i should want to plan even MORE future trips, this info will come in handy!
