How far is Wyndham Palms Resort from Disney?

Possible thinking of staying here, but curious how far it is from Disney. All other hotels list "1 mile", "4 miles", etc.

The timeshare resort is west in Kissimmee on a side road off 192. From the resort, travel about 4-5 miles east to the jct. of 192 and World Drive (from Epcot/MGM/MK).

From the resort, it's only about 3-4 miles to Animal Kingdom, if you go down 192 and turn left onto Sherberth Rd, taking the back way to Animal Kingdom.

You call it a "hotel" - make sure we are talking about the same place. There are also a few Wyndham Hotels. These are different. HTH.

It's a very easy drive and a nice resort. We stayed there for two weeks at Christmas/New Years.

Are you talking about Wyndam Palms Golf and Country Club? If so, we stayed there a couple of years ago, and it only took us about 10 minutes everyday to get to the parks. It was very close in our opinion.

We liked the resort. There are a lot of people on tripadvisor that have completely bashed this place. We loved it. The units are huge and tastefully decorated. The only downfall to the resort (in our opinion) are the really small swimming pools. Depending on what time of year you go, this could be a problem. We went in October, and most days had the pool to ourselves!
