How far is the walk from Sheraton Four Points to Disney?

They have a great rate of $99 for our April 20-23 visit but I am concerned because they don't have a shuttle. The desk said that it is only .2 miles or 2 blocks away and that is why they don't have shuttle service. It is on the corner of Harbor & Katella.

Does anyone know if this walk would be OK? I don't mind walking but I remember it being a good distance away (but maybe I am remembering it wrong).

Thanks for any replies!

I'm going to bump this one up. We're interested to know too because we have a booking for the Sheraton Four Points later in the year. We'd also like to know what the hotel is like, if it's good for kiddies (we have two DDs--5 yrs and 2 yrs).

When we made the reservation, we were told that the hotel was literally across the street from the DL. Is that right???

Thanks!

I stayed there once, and will not stay there again because they do not offer shuttle service. The Four Points is about a 10 minute walk. Although, it is only two blocks, it is quite a hike especially after a long day at Disneyland.

If you have children, I definately recommend staying at a hotel closer to property or a hotel that provides shuttle service. Have you checked into the Anaheim Sheraton or even the Doubletree in Orange? Both have excellent shuttle service. The Doubletree is in Orange which is actually further away from Disneyland, but their shuttle is very convenient. The Doubletree is next to The Block which is a nice entertainment, resturant, shopping area.

Have Fun!

Thanks for the responses!

We decided against the Sheraton 4 points, mainly because of the lack of the shuttle. The place looks beautiful from the outside, but we will be traveling with our friends who have a 6 month old and I feel we really need a shuttle.

c&m I wanted to mention that we switched to the Portofino Inn & Suites. We got a package with 3 nights and a 3 day pass for $570 (tax incl.) That is for 2 adults, no kids. The neat thing is that they have "kids suites". In one room is a king bed, 27" tv, etc. in the kids room, there is bunk beds, a kid sized activity table, another 27" tv and the kids get a "fun pack" and a bucket of popcorn when you check in. They also have 2 vanity areas. The prices I quoted are for that room (that was all they had left so even though we have no kids we have a kids suite - - husband is looking forward to the free popcorn ha ha!)

That may be a good solution for you. If you want me to call for you & check rates since you are in Canada let me know your dates.

Good luck,
Susan

Thanks, Susan, for your kind offer! I apologize that I haven't responded back because I haven't been on the Discussion Boards since that day--busy with work, family, and home renovations (LOL!!)!!

We too are going to cancel our Sheraton Four Points reservation. We are going to hold off on deciding on a place because we haven't firmed up on which month we'll be going after all. I will look up the Portofino Hotel because the kid suites sound like fun! We're also going to look into the Anaheim Marriott and the Doubletree.
