How far is SeaWorld from Disney?

We are staying at the Polynesian in May and will go to MK and AK at Disney - but we plan to go one day to SeaWorld.

What are our transportation options? Does Disney provide anything to other (non-Disney) areas of Orlando?

disney does not provide any transport to non disnet parks----options would be mears shuttle----taxi---or daily car rental--disney does have onsite car rental

We had a rental car and it took less than 20 mins to go from SOG (near Poly) and park at SW. If you aren't planning to rent a car, a cab would probably be the most convenient way to get there. My children loved SW and we all loved eating at Sharks Grill...really yummy!...if you're looking for a good seafood meal.

i read somewhere that there was a non disney bus that goes to sea world from the ttc hope this helps!dis sjw

Just walk over to the TTC and hop on the LYNX bus. Route 50 I believe, about 20 minuets later you will be at SW. They run about every half our or so. Just let the driver know where you are going and he will point you in the right direction when you get there. You are let off by the SW parking lot.

My girls and I did this at our last trip to WDW. I was really scared and worried about doing this, but it was so worth it, and so easy. It costs less than $1.50 a person. We even took the Lynx on over to the Belz Outlet Mall at the Charecter Warehouse store and bought great discounted WDW souvinirs. Have fun.
