How far is San Diego from Disneyland?

There's a very good chance I might be starting a new job in San Diego around July...is it close to Disneyland so I can go a lot? Any opinions on the area?

Hi there...I lived in Oceanside in North San Diego county and it took an hour to get to Disneyland without traffic...You are looking at an hour and a half to 2 1/2 hours,depending on traffic

Anywhere from 1 hour to 2 hours away. San Diego is nice, it is a real "beach" place. The surrounding areas are nice to. I love San Diego, if I could afford the housing I would move there. They have a nice climate year round. Although we went in May and that May Gray did get to me after 3 days. But when the sun breaks it is beautiful!!!!! PS, you could go all the time to Disneyland, I live 4 hours away in Vegas and go "all the time"!

When I lived in SD it took me about 1 + 45 to get to Disneyland (Once I actually FOUND it!).

SD is great!! If you get the chance to go, do it! You can surf in the morning & snow ski in the afternoon.

By & Large, I do not like big cities, but if I was forced to go to one, it would be SD.

I'm Jealous! I used to live in Dana Point. (about an hour from San Diego) it should take you about an hour and a half to 2 hours to get to Anahiem. Spend some time exploring your new city though, it;s LOVELY!
