How far is CR from Courtyard Marriott

Renting a car from Dollar and need to know how far away from Contemporary resort and the Courtyard by Marriott. Also need recommendation of how to get from CR to CMarriott. Any thoughts. Thanks

It really depends heavily on traffic, but my guess is about 20 minutes or so.

Exit out of the Contemporary onto World Drive. When you reach the traffic light at Seven Seas, continue straight ahead. You will reach what we call the Jughandle. Please use caution at this intersection, and make sure to stop at the stop sign. The cross traffic will not stop.

Once you continue through the Jughandle, you will now be on Vista Boulevard. You will pass Fort Wilderness, and a golf course. When you reach the traffic light, take a Right onto Bonnet Creek Pkwy. You'll pass Port Orleans Riverside, and then French Quarter.

At the first traffic light, take a Left onto Community Drive. You'll pass Old Key West, a golf course, and the Disney Institute. When the road ends, take a RIGHT. You will now be on Buena Vista Drive. (The main road that DTD is on)

When you get to the major intersection, take a LEFT... You will now be on Hotel Plaza Blvd, where the Courtyard Marriott is located.

If you are asking how to get from the CR to the DTD Courtyard to pick up a car (and thus can't drive yourself there), my advice is to call the Dollar desk at the Courtyard and ask if they have a complimentary shuttle that will come to the CR to get you. If not, I'd just take a cab.

You might be able to take the Courtyard MK Shuttle (it has a stop at the TTC), but I don't know if they allow "non-hotel guests" and from what I have read, the shuttle doesn't run very often.

You could also take the bus from the CR to DTD and then either walk (it's a rather long walk, IMHO) or take a cab from there.

IMHO, if there isn't a complimentary Dollar shuttle, a cab is the most convenient and quickest way to get your rental car.

LOL... Okay, lights on, but no one is home... I totally misread that as asking for driving directions... LOL

But yeah... I'd imagine they'd have a shuttle van. Actually, come to think of it, I know I've seen a Dollar shuttle van all over property, so yeah... they do have one! lol
