How far in advance should I buy park tickets?

I am planning a trip to Disney in October 2013. So, I have a bit of a long time to go before we actually fly out. I was reading that Walt Disney World park tickets will be going up in price between April-June 2013.

Since there are quite a few of us going (7 in total) I was wondering if i should buy park tickets in advance? We are only planning to go to Disney for a total of 3 days. If I buy tickets now, is it correct that they would not expire before my vacation? From what I understand they expire 14 days after I use one.

I've read a lot about Undercover Tourist, has anyone purchased tickets through them, and are they really cheaper than buying tickets directly through Disney?

And does anyone know how much the increase usually is, approximately?

Thanks:wizard:

If you have the money now, I would buy the tickets thru Underground tourist.
I used them and they are great. Basically, you save on sales tax since their prices include them. Disney raises there prices about 4-5 percent a year. So if you were to buy now you will save close to 10%. The tickets will be good for 14 days after first use and they will not expire if you have not used them.

Buy your tickets now!!!! Disney is planning another price increase shortly.
Undercover Tourist is the best site to purchase your tickets (IMHO)
We have been dealing with UT for at least 12 years, and have found them to be the best. :yay:

ASAP.. The mousesavers newsletter I got today said the prices are going up very soon. I also recommend UCT as a place to get tickets thats where I get mine.

I assume even with buying tickets via Undercover Tourist that when you arrive at your Resort you can present your tickets and have them tied to your room key, correct??
