How far in advance can you purchase park tickets?

We aren't going until NEXT December, but the gift cards are going to be here tomorrow to pay for park tickets. I'm kind of itching to just buy them and be done with it. Can I buy them a year in advance?

Yes you can buy them now. I actually recommend it. The countdown for expiration will not start until first use and this will lock you in at the current rate in case of price increases.

Are they Disney gift cards? Do you plan to stay on-site? If so- just know that if you buy the tickets separate you won't be able to do a package deal if one comes out (which depending on when you go in December may not be offered)

Yes, they're Disney gift cards. We're renting DVC points, so it's all good. Thanks for the info, though!
