How far in advance can you book?

Sorry if this has been asked over and over again...but how far in advance can I make a reservation for one of the resorts? We're hoping to go next summer (2003), probably in June.

You can make your ressies now to hold the room in the resort that you want. I am pretty sure that you pay the deposit based on this year's rate, and they let you know that the room rates are not yet established for '03. They will contact you when the room rate is set and let you know what the new total is.

You can call as the time gets closer for a discount code. If the codes are availble (code, DC or AP) you can try and get the ressie changed and just move the deposit to the new ressie.

This way, you get the resort you want. I do this so since I like PO-FQ and at some times of the year it books because of its size.

The room rates for the next year are usually out in Aug/Sept. Disney does its big travel agent kickoff every October. I work as an outside agent, and they give us the books/broucheres at the kickoff and the rates for the next year are in them.
