How far in advance can you book WDW hotels with AAA?

I searched for all disney hotel availability for our dates (12/06/12-12/12/12) on AAA's website. We want to stay at Wilderness Lodge but are open to other Disney hotels. AAA said that the rooms were unavailable, at not only Wilderness Lodge but at every single other Disney hotel.

In general, how soon do rooms open up through AAA?

If you are getting that information through AAA, then find another TA. No, REALLY!. They can access the same reservations as anyone else, so there is no reason for that TA to be giving you that info.

Now, it may be possible that all rooms eligible for AAA discounts have already been booked. But I highly doubt it. If they are telling you that every room in WDW is booked, well that's just nuts.

You can go on the official website and pull up availability at just about any resort for Dec.

If I was you I'd talk to a Disney Travel Specialist agency instead. Or do it yourself.

Yeah, I know they are open on Disney's website. I was just trying to compare prices and see what the AAA discount might be right now. Eventually, we hope to get free dining and so will probably not book through AAA. It's just odd to me that they are showing *nothing* on the AAA website.

I have never had any luck getting pricing for the AAA rooms on their website. I just call my AAA TA and she gets me the info and I have always been able to get the villa we want with their discount. We have had our Aug. trip booked since last Oct. I would give a call to a AAA TA or request that one call you through the website. I also know that my sister and her husband are going to Disney mid-Dec. and they have already gotten pricing from their AAA agent with the discount for the CBR.
