We are staying at HIFS in April, we were just wondering how long it will take us to reach the park using the shuttle? Has anyone used the shuttle in the past? This is our first trip during spring break with the crowds, any advice?? We have also never been to either of the Disney water parks, would you recommend them, we will be there for 5 days with kids(5,7,10)
Thanks

We've stayed at HIFS three times but we always rent a car, so I can't say how long the shuttle will be. The drive is maybe 15 minutes I guess. Getting onto Disney property takes about 1 minute, but you are closer to Downtown Disney than MK. Try searching the boards for info on the HIFS shuttle as I'm sure it's been addressed before.

My kids love the water parks as much if not more than the other parks! My 10 yr old son insists that Wet N Wild is the best, but I think that's only becuase we were there most recently and it's still fresh in his mind. My 8 year old daughter says she like Blizzard Beach. Personally, coming from Masachusetts, I did not like the "snow" theme of Blizzard Beach besides the fact that the white "fake" snow really created a lot of glare and was hard on the eyes! Typhoon Lagoon was probably my favorite although I had a 6 month old with me and spent a lot of time hanging out with her.

I've heard that the water parks fill up quickly so you should go early.
