How Far Away From Your WDW Home Do You Live?

Around 400 miles for me in Georgia = usually a 7.5 hour trip. By the way, this is my first post although I've been lurking for some time and recently purchased a resale. My first trip "home" to VWL will be May 31!!!!!!

Oh my gosh! We just moved out here to Oregon from Michigan and Mapquest tells me we live 3153.11 miles away from WDW!!!!!!!! That's a 51 hour and 8 minute drive! I knew I was missing Michigan big time, but couldn't figure out why. I guess I know now!!! Oh well, just more FF miles to add to the till I guess

When we drove down in the spring it was 941 miles. We didn't take any side trips on that drive. That's about 940 miles to far!!!

1,244 miles (21 hrs - straight thru).

Last time we drove was in 1999 and we're doing it again (NOT straight thru though!!!) leaving in 18 days! Me, DD's 25, 14, & 12, DGS 4 & DGD's 2 & 7 months - YIKES!!! Son-in-law gets to fly down for work and DH is staying home as "someone needs to work for these vacations!". We are 'stopping by' Ft. Walton Beach, to visit DS who is stationed at the AFB near there. Should be interesting

14hrs. 23 min. you must have been moving. We're just up the road from Vineland (Woodbury area) and the best I did driving straight through was 18 hrs.

Also helps that my van has a gas tank that gets me into S.Carolina before having to stop. We also leave 6:30 pm which gets us through Baltimore,DC and Richmond without the traffic.

We live just over 1,900 miles from Longmont to Orlando. I didn't do specific addresses, but it's a long way. We drove it once (just after 9/11/01) and it took us three days. I probably won't do that again real soon. My goal is to move within a days drive. I'd love to live right in central Florida, but my husband won't go there. We're hoping to re-locate to North Carolina in the next ten years. Then we buy more points and drive often!!!

We are just about 1650 miles to the gate at the Wilderness Lodge. Takes about 28 hours driving straight through! Have to love the TV/VCR combos for the vehicles!!

So we are approximately 2620.12 miles away from BCV about at 42 hour 46 minute drive according to Map Quest! Glad we take a plane.

We live 1105 miles away! We get down there (by car) once a year, and hopefully more often in the future when not bound by school vacations! Can't wait for that "just me and hubby" trip!

I managed to drive it solo in December in 16 hours. It would have taken a bit less time, but I ran into a blizzard in West Virginia that slowed me down.

Next trip home is in June. DS James will have his temporary driving permit and he will be ready to take his turn behind the wheel. Yikes. Perhaps we should consider flying.
