Well, I don't always bother with a PTR but thought I'd have a go this time.
Cast:
Me (38) been to WDW lots and this will be my 3rd DLRP trip
DH (49) 3rd DLRP trip - Disney convert
DS (4) 3rd DLRP trip - has Autism so it can get somewhat stressful, last year he went on no rides whatsoever, but we'll see how it goes
DSD (15) 2nd DLRP trip took her with us last year and she loved it so she's v.excited to be going again, especially in the big pink hotel!
We're less than a month away and not much prepared so far due to a very busy time, DH has been very ill in hospital and we thought he wouldn't be well enough to go, but we've managed to buy a wheelchair which we're taking to ease the walking for him and as we're staying at the DLH if things get too much, it's not far to go back to the hotel for a few hours.
The title of the trip report comes from the fact that we moved house nearly 2 months ago, (long story, landlord not paying his mortgage, reposessed etc won't bore you with the details) we ended up in the Highlands of Scotland so that's added on another 940 miles (round trip) to our original journey, a total according to the AA of 1938 miles round trip to DLRP- yippee
all being done by me as DH non driver - hey ho we've got a few stops on the way so it'll just add to the excitement leaving even earlier and we'll be picking DSD up on the way too.
Not planning very much as we're going to take things as they happen, we want to see the Toy Story Playland area and I'd like to ride TOT I think this year but otherwise going to relax and soak up the atmosphere - you can probably tell we're not really ride fanatics, I like to stop and look around and people watch a bit and really looking forward to seeing the DLH too
Think that's all for now, hopefully everything will run smoothly and I'll do my absolute best at doing a trippie when we return
