DH, DS & I are booked on the Nov 30th Eastern Caribbean cruise. MIL may want to go with us but doesnt usually reserve her cruises until less than 6 months out. If she waits till the summer whats the chances she can get in our room with us? We do have a room reserved that can hold 4 people but the problem would be ship capacity.

Why wait until 6 months out? Book her now and you can always remove her later if she chooses not to go....all you need is a $200 deposit.

Prices on Disney go up the closer to sailing, not down, like some other cruiseline. Book now so you are not disappointed later.

Disney ususally only books three people in a cabin for 3, not 4, thus saving the cabin for a group of 4 people. As I said, add her now so you are sure Disney has room.

The reason we didnt add her in when we reserved at the end of Dec was since we are booked by points and MIL is using cash she would have needed to pay in entirely when we reserved in Dec. The deposits dont work when part of the party is using points and part is using cash. Wish it did

imgoingtodisney,

We are also on the 11/30 sailing. This past year, that sailing had about 2100 people on it. I would be very surprised if it was full. That week is not a peak week. I would suspect that at the six month point, you will have no problem finding space.

We have group space reserved on this sailing and while the prices are excellent, its not a "full-capacity" week..

We added a 4th person to our cabin (we were reassigned to a cabin for 4) about 4 months before our trip with no problem.
