How far ahead can you make ressies?

I know the basics regarding the 7 and 11 month window thing, but I am confused about one point. Is 11 months the earliest you can score ressies at you home resort? For example, if I am thinking about spending Christmas of 2006 at WDW, can I make ressies now or do I have to wait until January?

You have to wait until 11 months from your checkout date. Or, if you're worried about getting your ressie, you can call day by day and just tell MS to leave the ressie open until you have all days on there. Caskbill's DVC palnner is a great tool for figurign out 7 & 11 month windows among otehr things!
