Keen to get the absolute most out of our trip in Nov we have booked our hotel in Paris for the night before our Disney dates - v.v.v.exciting!
Trip currently looks like this:
Wed 12 Nov, morning - go to work. Booo.
pm - dash out of work and meet Mr EK at St Pancras
Get a Eurostar about 4.30ish
8pm - arrive GdN and get the RER a couple of stops down to the Latin Quarter
Get to hotel, drop our stuff, go straight back out to favourite tiny Paris bistro near the river at St Michel
I can even predict what we'll eat - onion soup/goats cheese salad; duck/beef bourgie (or perhaps venison if they have it!); creme brulee and cheese, large carafe of rough red wine - how fantastic is that? (And, how sad that I can tell you now what I'll have for dinner on a random Wednesday in November?!)
Thurs 13th - up at 6.30 or even earlier, out for breakfast, on the RER by 800
Arrive in DLP by 845, go to the DLH, drop bags
At park gates by 9!
Not bad eh?! I'm stupidly excited.
I've got two other holidays between now and Nov - a week in Turkey, and a trip up to Stratford to see the divine David Tennant in Hamlet, but I am ridiculously overexcited by our DLP trip.
(by the way, its just us - a professional couple in our mid 30's - we have no kids!)
sorry. Just felt the need to have a little bounce ....thus.
