How easy is it to mail packages home from Disney?

DH made a good point last night. How are we going to pack all of the stuff that the kids buy to bring home on the plane? Is there a post office close by that we could mail a box from?

On one trip we bought a rather large castle playset and we were able to ship it home right from the store we purchased it from. They do charge shipping but it is very easy and very convienient. If you do ship home do it late in your trip so your package doesn't beat you home.

If you have a small child, maybe you could pack their clothes in your bag. THEN, take an extra suitcase to bring all the goodies home. My sister and BIL are stationed in Turkey. When they came home for Christmas, they packed their clothes in one LARGE suitcase and sent all their Christmas goodies back to Turkey in the extra suitcase.

Most resorts will ship for you as well.'

If you do the Store shipping I think they charge for each peice .If you do it at your resort they will help get it boxed and ship as needed.

It is expensive to ship vs. putting it in an additional suitcase for free.

My sister always has her purchases shipped home from the resort. I do not believe it is that expensive, for the convenience. They always tell her 7-14 days for delivery, but it has always arrived in less than a week. She lives in PA.
