How early to do you get up?

Are you a wake up whenever kind of person and wing it for the day or do you set the alarm for daybreak and have your agenda to stick to?

DH and I usually get up at 8 or so, shower and go to the food courts for breakfast. In October we are going with 2 nieces so I expect to get up alot sooner lol

We set the alarm clock to 6:30 am, we can't wait to get started each day! By 7:45 we're on our way to the parks.

Depends on what we have planned for the day, but we need an alarm clock to get us up. We are usually at the park before rope drop. I also throw in a few late nights and then, sleep in days the next morning. We don't set an alarm clock on those days. My goal is always to enjoy the trip and not have cranky kids.

I usually get up at 5:30am and jog, then get back with coffee, wake the DW up and we are on the bus by 7:30am.

My fiance and I are both 22 years old so we love the sleep. We usually get up around 9ish and we eat breakfast. By the time she gets ready it's around 10:30 and we head to the parks

I don't get up before 9 or leave the room before 10.

6:45 to 7:00 is the norm for me. If everyone else was easy to get up, I could actually probably stretch that out, but they won't. :guilty:

Get everyone motivated, feed DS10 and myself. Head either to the car or bus for one of the parks by 8:30, if I'm lucky.

I have two children who normally rise anywhere between 5:30 and 8:00 AM...usually in the middle at 7. We have a natural alarm. However, I must admit, I am usually up before them, showered and ready to go at Disney. I just can't wait to get to the parks.

I don't need no stinking alarm clock! I am up and out the door asap.
We like to hit the parks early.

Lisa

I get up at 6am while I'm in the shower DH gets up and gets ready (having showered the night before). We leave the room about 6:50 and eat at the food court and then leave for the parks.

I'm the natural wake up early gal in our family so I'm usually up between 5:45 - 6:00 am. I wake the rest of my gang up at 7:00. Once in awhile every one wants to sleep in until 9:00 or 10

We usually set the alarm for a reasonable time like 7-8am. We aren't in a huge hurry to get there for rope drop and the bus ride and food court is much less crowded after about 9:30 anyway. If we've already been to a particular park on that trip and are going back then we tend to sleep in and get there around lunch time.

We get up at 7 at the latest, are showered and dressed by 7:30, and are done with breakfast and on the bus by 8:15.

Set the alarm for 6:00. We need that much time to get five people ready and to the parks for when they open.

It all depends on the EMH the night before... If we are out until 1am we usually don't wake up until 8 or 9am then take our time and make it to the parks around 10:30 or 11.

We also vacation in May on purpose so we can do this... I have heard during peak times the park could reach capacity well before that time... so I would actually get up early then.

I am usually the first one up at about 5:30ish and after I am ready, I wake my husband, my mom (who usually goes with us) and I let my son sleep until the last minutes. Although he is pretty much a morning person.

I'm up 5:30 am for my morning stretch & bend & coffee ritual....and quiet time for the days planning. Then get everyone else up and at um ...leave the room no later than 7:30. There is a day or 2 for sleeping! :sunny:

When there with the family, I'm always the first one up. We plan on the Mickey wake up, but sometimes I beat that. It's usually anywhere between 5:30-6:30, depending on the plan for the day (EMH or not, early character breakfast, etc...).

When I'm there alone or w/ just DH since my nights are usually a lot later, and I dont care so much about getting "it all' done at the parks, I will sleep later.

We tend to get up about 6:45, shower, head to the food court for breakfast and make it to the park just before rope drop. Worked well for us so far. :)

On days when I go to the parks I like to wake up at 7:00 AM. On days when my family & I don't do the parks I still like to sleep in a little & get up around 8:30 or 9:00 AM because we want to have the breakfast before 10:30 AM on the Atrium Club, before they take it away which makes sense & then just enjoy a relaxing day.
