I'm back and trying to get caught up!
Don't worry about catching up here. I'm ready to see your TR so I can see if you're going to change my mind on any of my ADR choices!!!
First I'm sorry that work has been so difficult lately. I know that the life of a farmer is never easy.
Thanks
I feel for you with the resort choice issue. I wish that you could come to an agreement on a mod because POR is really really great. However, we did a meal at WL and another at FW this past week and I shocked myself by really liking WL! I would stay there in a minute! I hope that a good discount comes available for you there. It looks lovely. (and WCC is there for you!)
WCC is just *one* of the many reasons I love that place.
Can't wait to hear what the ADR choices are, you know I love Disney Dining!
That goes without saying.
Sounds perfectly logical to me having your son behind the tractor. Of course this is coming from a guy who barely knows what a tractor is
They've got to learn sometime! I was driving tractors by myself by the time I was about 8. My dad even welded up these extensions that we would bolt onto the pedals when I was driving so that I could reach them.
Wow, your ADRs are coming up! Your trip is getting close! As someone who recently planned a trip with a #notDisneyside person in tow, I can empathize with you and the challenges you're facing with your FIL. Hope he ends up having a good time with his family.
I'm sure it will be ok. He won't be a downer during the trip, he'll just keep it to himself. But then I can see where we'll come home and I'll hear from my BiL or my SiL when he's been complaining about how miserable he was... I just really don't want it to be that way.
I think it's a good call, staying with where you're at, at AoA. Especially since you don't sound that thrilled about moving to a Mod to see very little savings. I think you guys will be just great at AoA, IMO.
Thanks. I'm looking forward to checking it out.
I totally get you about the rain. We didn't have a lot of rain this past Winter (as it seems to be the case more and more every year

) so we get excited when there's even an hour of rain for all our farmers. It started raining randomly a lot last month which has been great!
We're getting plenty right now... and after 85 degree weather last week, we're getting lows in the 30's and chances of snow in the forecast.
Yay! Almost one month before ADR time

Of course there's changes. There's always changes but that's the fun part!
Sometimes fun... sometimes frustrating.
Oh no, hopefully your FiL will have a great time once he's actually there and gets to see how much fun you and your family have while there.
I really hope that's the case. We're definitely going to spend more time watching movies at World Showcase and seeing shows at DHS. I'm sure he'll enjoy some of those things. I failed to mention this part, but when we were talking about the trip, DW did mention Hall of Presidents, and then when I started talking about the American Experience he really seemed to think that sounded interesting.
Such great pictures of your DS on the tractor!
Thanks
Just read your entire PTR!!! I love it because, as you can see from my ticker, I won't be going to disney again for at least a year, so I like seeing how you have progressed!!!
It is definitely hard to plan a trip knowing it is so far away. But that's better than not having a trip to plan. I'm excited about the fact that we have Disney World and
Disneyland coming up back to back... but in the back of my mind I'm already a little bit sad because I don't know when we'll be going back. Or rather how soon DW will let me take us back.
