How Early in the Morning...

I'm an early riser, while the rest of my family likes to sleep in. How early can you rent a bike, or boat? Does Trail's End offer breakfast? When does the Trading Post open? We haven't even booked this trip, and I'm already sooooo looking forward to it! Thanx for your help.

We are early risers too. I generally get up at 5 am whether I am on vacation or not. I like to take an early morning bike ride around FW, out the trail to WL, around the loops, etc. Lots of deer up around 6 am. I am not sure when the bike barn opens since we take our own bikes. Trail's End has a most excellent breakfast buffet and is probably one of the best deals on property. It is our favorite meal to eat there. I believe it opens around 7 or 7:30. Trading posts open later, I think the Meadows may open around 8:30. One word of warning - the mosquito truck also makes it's rounds around 5-6 am. Might want to stay inside until it passes.

I would imagine the earliest anything would be open is at 7am.

We were at the Ft. Wilderness boat dock early one morning before 7am waiting on the boat. It was really quiet and peaceful. All of a sudden the background music came on and a boat came out from in behind an island almost as if on cue. I looked at my watch and it was exactly 7am. So I would imagine nothing is open before then.
