How Early for Breakfast?!?

When making ADR's for breakfast, what it the earliest time you can book when relying on Disney Transportation?

I've heard some say that busses begin running an hour prior to the park opening and others say that there are earlier busses with earlier ADR's. We'll be staying at Pop if that makes a difference

According to the official site,
"Complimentary transportation is available one hour prior to Disney Theme Park opening time" (http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/resorts/pop-century-resort/, click on the Transportation tab.) I wouldn't rely on them being able to transport you any earlier than that, but you could always ask the CM when you call to make the ADR.

The busses do run earlier for character breakfasts. I think they will only drop you off at MK or MK resorts. You should ask your question on the transportation board. They may have better answers.

I wouldn't bother asking the CM when you call to make your ADR. He/she probably won't know. Some of the best WDW advice I ever got here on the DIS was about transportation. When you have transportation questions only trust the CM's in the purple pants. The bus drivers wear purple pants and they are the only ones who can tell you for sure.

We had an 8:05 at CP on a 9AM opening day at MK. Busses run earlier for early breakfast ADR's.

Last year we had 8:15 ressie at CP and didn't have a problem getting there on time. I love early morning ressies. You can walk down Main St with almost no one there.

So I"m hoping for an 8:05 at Tusker house one morning. I want to be AT the restaurant early so we can finish in time for rope drop. Will the buses be running early enough to get us there?

Early morning buses start by 6:30...they are there for express purpose of getting guests to those meals before the parks open.
Getting to resort meals can be a bit tougher though. If you are going to CM's you may be able to get dropped at the CR. I ask the driver, when I board the MK bus (usually prior to 7:15) which is faster to the CR...walking or the monorail. That way, the driver can make the offer of dropping us right there..and it will seem like he is being 'magical'. I have never asked to be dropped there though. I don't like to appear to be demanding.
If going to the Polynesian or GF you are better off just taking the boat or monorail from MK.
Headed to Boma? Take the AK bus and then transfer to the AKL bus. Again, you can ask the driver, when you get on at your resort, how long it will take to get to AKL from AK...that way, you may get dropped at AKL, rather than having to make a transfer.

Headed to an Epcot resort for breakfast? Take the early bus to DHS and then walk to the resort you are headed to. The boats don't run as early as the buses do...the walk should take about 20 mins....tops.
