How early dows the parking lot open?

We have 7am reservations for Goofy;s jkitchen tomoorroow. I would like to park in the theme park lot, walk to the Disneyland hotel for breakfast, then catch the monorail for entry. But is the parking lot open 2 hours before the park is?

I believe the parking structure opens 1 hour prior to park opening. I suggest parking at the hotel, you will get free parking due to your meal.

How long is the free parking at the hotel good for? I figure we'll be finishing our meal in just enough time to scoot over to the monorail for opening. I don't want to have to move mmy car until it. Is time to check in at HoJo's, if at all possible.

You get 3 hours free at the hotel I think......I'm not 100% sure tho, we only parked at the hotel when we stayed there or for a couple hours for the character meal.

Turns out that the hotel allows you to park with meal validation for FIVE hours. And you can choose either valet or self park.


We arrived just in time for our 7am res, had them valet park the car, enjoyed breakfast an charcters. Then we headed into the park for a few hours. The only downside was the monorail was down, so we had to walk to the front gate. It was still down at 11 when we went to move our car. We went over to HoJo's to try to do a pre-register, and they already had our room ready. Everything worked great.

I'm currently at the garden pool after a nap. Once DS is done with his swim, we'll be walking on back to to DL to use our fast passes and enjoy the evening.

fyi you can park your car at HoJo and precheck in at any time. I've done it as early as 8 am, they gave us a parking pass with no problems! We kept our car parked near the lobby just in case but we had no problems with it at all. So you could do your bfast, then have one of the adults take the car to HoJo, check in, walk to the park and meet the rest of the group.
