How early do the parks close on nights of MNSSHP??

My family and I are going to be in the world on 10/02 for the week. I know the MNSSHP starts that month. My question is: how early do the parks close for that event??? Neither one of my boys are interested in attending it (as neither am I). The last hard ticketed event we attended was just simple a joke. Will the parks boot everyone out early? I hope not. It seems that they do this quite a few times in early October, I hope we are not going to be disappointed by it.

Last year the Halloween parties were on Oct. 3, 5, 10, 14, 16, 19, 24, 26, 30, 31 from 7:00 PM to Midnight. On those nights the Magic Kingdom closes at 6 pm. The other parks close at their normal hours. They always close early on the nights of hard-ticket events, such as Night of Joy, MNSSHP, and MVMCP.

Yep, you will need to leave MK by 6:00 on the nights that MNSSHP is scheduled. I wouldn't think it would be that big a deal, though, just hop over to Epcot!

You may want to plan your trip so that you are not planning on going to MK on a party night and use that day somewhere else so you don't get "kicked out"...you may want to reconsider though because many think that this is one of the best nights at the MK...even if you are not into Halloween the parades, fireworks, sites and little to no lines at rides are worth being there for...many are there for all of the other stuff that they don't go on many rides...if that was all you wanted to do it would be worth the extra $ to have little wait times....just a thought
