On my first morning I'll be pretty jet lagged, and probably up by 5am.

Will there be any buses running at that time, so I can go for a walk somewhere, or get some breakfast, or will I be limited to what the All Star Resorts have to offer?

TIA! :)

the buses usually start running 1 hour prior to park opening. you wil most likely be limited to ASR at 5am. if nothing else you could walk around the resort, if it is not dark. when you arrive check out what time the food court will open for breakfast. good luck!

If I recall the Food Court at All-Stars opens for quick breakfast at 6am, then full breakfast at 7am.

There is the McDonalds within walking Distance of All-Stars that may open earlier.

There are sidewalks all the way to Blizzard Beach from All-Stars where you could take a walk.

However, an early morning walk around the All-Star resorts itself should be quite pleasant and quiet. Check out the various decorations of the other buildings.

Late in the afternoon of Hurricane Jeanne when WDW was still closed, but the weather had calmed considerably, we spent the afternoon wandering around all three All-Stars. It was a healthy walk and all my travel companions could say was "That wasn't here before"!! Well the fact is, it was always there, but because they never bothered to wander around, they had never seen it before. They always ran straight from their room to the bus and off to the parks. This was a great opportunity to see parts of the resort most folks wouldn't consider.

So take the opportunity to explore your resort!!!!

The early morning buses that transport guests to the various breakfasts and tours around WDW start 45 minutes before the first scheduled breakfast. I read this from a post by Chip 'N Dale, a former Disney bus driver who now works at the Grand Floridian. So if any breakfast starts at 7am the first buses will start rolling around 6:15am.

The normal buses to the theme parks start around one hour prior to park openings.

Gosh, Tyler certainly likes moving around! Last I knew, he'd returned from Pop Century to the purple pants again, but now he's gone on to the Floridian?

What's next, Tyler, Jungle Cruise skipper, maybe?
