How early are the parks opening lately or is it the listed time?

I know that in the past, they have opened early. Does anyone have first hand experience lately or know of a good source that lists the information? 2 more sleeps!!

Epcot and Hollywood Studios have often been opening as early as 8:30.

On Monday, November 10, we were surprised at Magic Kingdom's 8:45 opening. I don't recall ever hearing of an early MK opening before.

We are here now. So far this is what we have experienced. Epcot opened 10 min early, HS 15 min early. We got to MK around 8:35 am and were able to walk right in. Was really surprised by that. Headed to AK today so not sure when they open just yet.

Can you please offer the dates of these arrivals?

At MK, did you have to wait in the first courtyard for the Welcome Show (Rope Drop Ceremony,) or did you just head in and on down Main Street?
