How does your school handle the lunch policy?

Ok, I am confused now.:rotfl: Was this kid in the OP told he owed money? Or was it just that his Dad wasn't told.

 Yep, confused!

It was two different kids. There was the first kid whose account was overdrawn, they tried to take his lunch, but he refused and went ahead to sit down and eat it. He got suspended. I don't know if he was told he owed money because the article was vague.

Second kid is son of a school board member. His account was in arrears, but nobody told the dad and he didn't find out until he looked at the website (which I assume was new at the time he did it because we haven't been doing the site all that long). The board member's point in bringing that up was the inconsistency that's going on in the lunchroom. Why were they continuing to give HIS son a lunch, but not this other boy's? If they were being inconsistent with those two kids, then they had to be inconsistent all over the board.

Maybe the administrator kid wasn't as overdrawn and the kid that got suspended.

OOOOHHHHH! Ok, I get it now. Well, I say kudos to the board member of pointing it out.

What gets me at my school is that they are very strict about the kids accounts but.... My class has last lunch, and there are teachers from another class still in the cafeteria that go up and "mooch" left over food from the lunch ladies. If they are going to "waste" food on them, why shouldn't the kids get it? When I need a lunch, I always pay, even though we are the last lunch.
