How does vandalism and looting accomplish anything???

Recent occurrences where no looting or vandalism occurred. Also crimes that should have a national focus but are ignored. The question is--what is the motivation to ignore?

Probably, most people are focused on this event and by now are fatigued by discussing i and the social and political conditions that lead to it. Or perhaps it's because we are either closet racists or cop haters :confused3

Came across this this morning. Good evidence if to can be authenticated and used. Possible Audio recording of the shots fired.

Thanks for the link. I'm sure that the police knew how many shots were fired before but did not release that information. The interesting part of the audio was the measured shots of the first part, the slight pause and then the rapid fire of the second part. It all happened very quickly.

I'm sure that multiple someones will come along to make that audio work for their own pet theories. I prefer not to speculate myself.

The off to the side conversation overheard on a video has one guy saying he thought the cop kept missing because Brown kept running towards Wilson. I've wondered whether Officer Wilson fired a warning shot when he told them to freeze.

I wish this man had heeded the warning he was given. :(

"A West Point man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after he and a friend were attacked by a group of around 20 people in a Huddle House parking lot, police said, potentially as retaliation for Michael Brown's killing."

Just sad and senseless. Couldn't find it on mainstream news. Might be there later.

He went into the Waffle House to get his friend who was already being harassed and in an argument. The manager told them to take it outside and the police were called. They left and the gang of 20 followed them to Huddle House. That's where the beating took place. There has been an arrest though.

If the situation was reversed, I wonder if the MSM would be reporting.

The message of the warning got my attention. This case seems to have a long reach.

If I didn't open the link I thought you were talking about something happening at West Point Military Academy

Here in Wisconsin the legislature recently passed a law that requires an outside agency to review of shootings by officers. Here is an article written by the man who helped make that happen after his son was shot and killed by police:

I think that's a reasonable approach. But it's worth noting that the investigation of Brown's shooting was initially being handled by an outside entity, The St. Louis County PD, when the FBI announced they too would conduct thier own set of fact finding. http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/mi...on-police-shooting-teen-michael-brown-n177761

According to CNN:

"FBI forensic tests showed the gun was fired twice in the car, with one bullet hitting Brown's arm while the second one missed, the newspaper said.

In addition to Wilson's uniform and gun, forensic tests found the teen's blood on the interior door panel of his car, The Times said."

Interesting. I wonder what other evidence is going to come out...

You know, WTH...

Why they proceeded with this case in this manner is beyond me. :crazy2:

LEO's should have made a statement in the BEGINNING, sharing their knowledge with the community.

If they had put out the events that lead to the shooting right away, I think things would have been better for the citizens. Citizens were demanding to know what happened and the police kept their trap shut, like it is was "classified". Dumb.

People are still protesting this case btw, for those that do not live here in STL.

McCullough said that if the Grand Jury returns a "No True Bill", he will release all of the Grand Jury evidence. My feeling is they've reached that decision and they will trickle out information bits at a time to prepare the rioters for that fact.

Look at what happened though when they released the convenience store robbery video.

IMO, police didn't want to release a lot of information because it helped them to weed out truthful witnesses and liars based on their evidence.

I watched the protests on different live streams/ u streams until last weekend.

I don't entirely blame the LEO's though. The media left out various parts of the story to fit their own agenda.

The public (referring to the protestors and the family) didn't want to know truth. They wanted to know that Mike Brown was innocent and that the officer was guilty.

Screams for justice don't actually want justice at times. And when evidence points to the contrary, they respond in kind as they did with the video.

It was amazing that witnesses kept coming forth days after the fact with similar accounts. Unless they were fresh accounts, too much time elapsed for their version to morph into the desired account. It was tainted and useless at that point.

The mob wouldn't have been any less mob like had the evidence been released sooner.

The recent shooting--even with gun residue, still has folks screaming that he was innocent and only armed with a sandwich. And MSNBC still features the shooting with a "why the shooting matters". Even though he shot a gun--his life should have "mattered" enough for cops to not fire back.:confused3

The media only has one agenda. Cops never have a justification to shoot, especially if the person they are shooting at is black.
