I keep going back and forth on whether I think they will. l think there is probably enough to justify an arrest but unless they have something we haven't seen (that can prove the officer wasn't in fear for his life) I don't think there is any chance for a conviction.

I said this the other day and I think it still holds true, this is a repeat of the Trayvon Martin case with different people. In cases like this it's all about risk of bodily harm and anytime you have injuries to the person who ultimately shot the other person it makes it very difficult to prove they weren't in fear for their life, that is really the difference between a guilty verdict and a not guilty verdict.

I think both the police and the protestors are acting much better tonight. The police aren't using the overwhelming force techniques from the last several days and the protestors seem to be much more organized and focused.

There was a guy with a loudspeaker telling protesters to meet at 9 am at the Justice Center which is located at 100 South Central for the grand jury. Ironic that the 1992 Rodney King riots were in South Central LA and no, I'm not saying they're going to riot like that. Just brought it to mind.

I'm of the opinion that Michael Brown was a thug, based on how he behaved n the video, however, I've not made up my mind about anything, other than believing he was a thug.

I have never felt more angry over a story as I have felt about this one. This is far worse than the Trayvon Martin case. This was a police officer doing his job. I know they have strong evidence in favor of the officer and they don't know how to handle it. They have jobs to protect, votes to secure. I could not believe a rally by a black panther calling for the death of Officer Wilson. Has the world gone crazy???? I know I am not the only one feeling this way. I hope every white officer will ask for a transfer out of Ferguson and any area with a high black population. I have no words I can use on this forum for the Governor of Missouri. I have to turn my tv off and walk away from this because the injustice is unbelievable.

Nixon is a guy who is very good at his job when he sticks to doing his job & not playing politics. That was my only beef with him as AG, but it's not really been an issue in his current job until now.

many of my relatives & friends were worried. I'm very far from that area so we had no safety concerns.

�� to you, I am in a big law enforcement family and I cant watch the news anymore.. Sooo many people have no clue of the training or how it feels to be the most hated and needed at the same time... Or how it feels to watch your loved ones put their lives on the line for so many that hate them. The best way to understand is to google paul harvey " what is a policeman"

The actual extent of the officer's facial injury has not been released. But we do know he sustained some type of injury. The facial swelling was reported by the media. But with so many witnesses claiming Mike Brown wasn't doing anything but surrendering--contrary to already established accounts that he was at the patrol car prior to the shooting--it isn't really being covered now until more details are eventually released.

As for the video--I watched the link. That seems to be the video with the guys talking about what they saw and what happened. It does not match the narrative, so it will see little airtime on main stream media. Unfortunately as a piece of evidence, it is just a statement and doesn't show the actual shooting. If it had showed the actual shooting, it would be more valid. It is also just audio.

Hopefully these witnesses had their statements taken.
