Thanks

Have only been to 2 of them

Hollywood & Vine Breakfast - only ate lunch there, reminded me of Golden Coral with B level characters - would be hard pressed to return for another meal
1900 Park Fare Dinner - a really good buffet, good character interaction, solid choice

You are a bit breakfast heavy for my taste - I like to tour parks early when crowds are lower and take the meal times later in the day. Also, breakfasts are all pretty much the same food wise and aren't great values if looking to get bang for your buck. One breakfast we did and liked VERY much was the Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker though - I would recommend that one.

we have been to all except TT. Your kids will love Hollywood and Vine breakfast for the entertainment (last trip we went for breakfast and lunch but breakfast was so much better...food and character interaction). They had a sing/dance ever 15 mins and a musical parade ever 30 mins. The characters came to our table 3x. Tusker House breakfast has good food, great juice and good character interactionn (have a musical parade too). We enjoyed Cape May breakfast (good food and good character interaction...came to our table 2x and spend time).
We have gone to CP for lunch but I read alot of good reviews breakfast.
The only character meal that we did not enjoy was 1900 for the food (it was bad) but had great character interaction.

I think you'll be very sorry about choosing Tony's. While it isn't really bad, it is never any good.

I didn't love Tutto, but it isn't my style of Italian food.

Don't know why people are so down on breakfast. I love breakfast. Crystal Palace is my favorite. Two snaps up.

The Tusker House breakfast is decent food, too. It's a little more hectic than I like my breakfasts (and I miss the old, calm Tusker House breakfast so much), but the characters are adorable in their safari clothes and, again, decent food. :)

Haven't done H&V breakfast. We skip that park a lot and go to 50s Prime Time for lunch when we're there. Food isn't that great, but it is a lot of fun and I gotta have my PB&J shake, dontcha know.

Beach Club has your typical breakfast. Characters have their beach clothes on. If I weren't staying there, I wouldn't make a special trip to eat there, but it's good enough. :)

CP dinner is good. If it were me, I wouldn't go to CP twice. I'd stick with breakfast and have my dinner at Liberty Tree or The Plaza. But that's me. You certainly can't go wrong.

Park Fare is a good dinner and a pretty restaurant. It's fun for me to watch Cinderella talk to little girls around me. They're usually so happy and excited to talk to her. "That's a lovely dress," she'll say, "Did the Fairy Godmother make yours, too?" ...and those little darlings just beam. :)

The Hollywood and Vine breakfast is great. Best character interaction of all the character meals...not just greetings at the tables but lots of dancing to Playhouse Disney music (there's a video in my review of H&V - LINK BELOW). The breakfast food was great, enjoy the Mickey Waffles. I agree that lunch (2009) and dinner (2008) was like a budget buffet (someone mentioned Golden Corral) but with less choices...

Too many breakfasts? I agree it is better to get an early start in the parks than spending an hour in a restaurant. From park opening to 11am is the least crowded time in the park, that's the time to do your favorite rides and attractions and to collect fast passes as soon as you are able (to use later in the day when it is crowded).

Alternatives -- schedule your breakfast before the park opens (at 8am when the park opens at 9), then you are not losing time. If you must do breakfast, schedule it an hour after park opening so you have time to get some things done and get fast passes for later. If we are not doing a character breakfast, we have cereal or something like that in the room before we leave.

Other character meals? We went to Crystal Palace twice but that's because I like the food and it's an easy lunch break (DS is not going to give us a fuss about stopping the rides to eat there). How about a place with different characters? Garden Grill is another character meal that is dinner only - you get Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale. Ohana's breakfast has Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto are easy to find in the parks without a character meal. And even though I like Tusker House, you can see the same characters in their safari outfits in Animal Kingdom Park. If you have boys, they might not care for 1900 PF Dinner. I thought it was crowded in there and hard for the characters to move around and really interact. Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters are much more fun to meet in the park.

How about other lunches or dinners instead? Lunch will give you better choices. And if you are going to pay (instead of dining plan) for some meals, breakfast would be the least expensive. Hollywood Studios has 50s Prime Time and SciFi Diner that can be fun. Food is much better at 50s. Epcot has some fun places to eat too. I'd skip places like Tony's and Tutto Italia -- we can do that at home. How about some of the different places with entertainment or a theme? In Epcot, we like Coral Reef, Biergarten, Restaurant Marrakesh. Magic Kingdom's restaurants are not our favorites.. I think it's better to eat on the go there... In Animal Kingdom Park, it's Yak and Yeti (not so much for the theme, but for the food!)

HAVE A WONDERFUL TRIP!!!
