We'll be at DHS on a green day in October. The cast is me, DH, DS5 (over 40"), DS3 (under 40"). Park is open 9-7.

RD
FP TSM (me, DS3, DS5)
TSM standby
RnR standby (DH)
FP RnR (DH)
TSM with FP (me, DS3, DS5) while DH is at RnR
FP TSM
Star Tours (DH, DS5) while me and DS3 go to Disney Junior Live
Voyage

Lunch - 50's 12:45

Honey Play Area
Ride RnR
Ride TSM
Muppet Vision

If possible, we'll fit Beauty and the Beast in there.

DH can use the single rider line at RnR. Its great. I never wait longer than 5-10 minutes with standby at 45 minute + wait.

If TSM FP line is long by the time you get there, go ahead and hop in standby line then get FP when you exit. Otherwise you end up waiting in line for a FP while the standby line is filling up. Just depends on how fast you can hussle over there.

Unless you are very front of the pack (and w/ a 3 & 5 yr old alone that will be hard) you will not be able to use your TSM FP that early. The earliest times are 45 min- 1 hour out from opening. It's not going to take that long to ride TSM once at RD standby. You would be waiting around for a bit before you can use your FP and get a 2nd one. I would plan something else for that time and get another TSM FP when it opens up and use the 1st TSM FP later in the morning or early afternoon. Maybe do Voyage or Muppets while you are waiting. Disney Junior Live is also in that area and would be a good option for your kids ages while you wait.

Definitely the single rider line at RnR... faster than the FP line

Only problem with that is it will be RD, when the parks are slow they don't open up Single Ridre first thing. Either way he will be able to get on and off quickly at RD as the masses will be duking it out over at TSM.

I'd keep DH's ticket and get him a FP for TSM with the rest of the gang first thing. And then use single rider later to ride again.

I don't see the great movie ride on your schedule, that's a "must ride" for us.

I would also add Great Movie Ride. It's a great ride to relax on.

Your plan looks great!

This is how I would tour:
RD!!
DH- FP TSM for everyone
Mom & kids- ride TSM
DH- Ride RNR standby while you ride TSM
Everyone- muppets
DH & older child- ST
Mom & younger- DJ live
DH- FP TSM for everyone while waiting your DJ live to end
Everyone- Voyage or Beauty in Beast
Lunch
playarea
Everyone- use 2 FP TSM
Everyone- Voyage, Beauty in Beast,GMR or Backlot tour (depending on perference and show times)
DH- ride RNR single rider line while mom and kids shop or eat ice cream

Redhead, that's a great plan! Thank you....also good ideas about not getting to use the FP so early.

For GMR, I thought DS3 would be bored, not understanding any of the movies, which is why I pulled it. DS3 is a bit of an antsy one and I'm hoping he copes with the shows well! Did your younger kids like this ride?

I'd skip the Great Movie Ride- it scared my kids to death at that age. It's been a few years, but the whole gangster theme with a cast member hopping onto our vehicle, the Wizard of Oz scene, pretty much all of it scared them. And they rode ToT without a problem, so they don't scare easily!

Also, don't forget that you can use the child swap for attractions like Star Tours and RNRC. You will need DS3 to be present when you request the pass, though. For instance, when DH and DS5 ride ST, go up to the line with them and ask for a Child Swap pass. Give pass to DH and DS5 before heading to Disney Jr with DS3. Then DH and DS5 can have a second ride on ST with minimal wait.

I'd add Tower of Terror in there somewhere. It's a great ride. And you don't have Lights Motors Action either. It's great. TSM is a good ride, but DHS has so much more to offer.

Thanks! I realized I left LMA off the list....really would like to fit that in there somewhere. I'm sure the boys would love that.

My boys are 10 and 11 and they (and I) love it. I think it's one of the best show in wdw.
