How does the cost of DVC compare to other Orlando area Timeshares...

what do you mean by the dining plan being a great example? I'm lost :confused3
There is a fairly large contingent of Disney visitors (DVC members included) that are more interested in knowing what their costs are many times, having as much paid or set prior to arrival than the actual cost itself. And there is a another group that assume any package or plan will be a savings when many times it is not. With that said, the dining plan may be a good deal for some but it is not for many, especially if they have or can get the DDE card. Each person should look at their own personal situation and make the best decision for themselves and their family.

I think it matters whether you go to Orlando for just Disney or for other things. Our last 2 trips we saw the airport and Disney (which is like another world in itself)!lol We go for Disney so that made sense when thinking about the benefits of being on site. I have stayed outside of Disney at hotels, rental houses, and another timeshare, but I hate driving in and parking and having to leave at the end of the day. Like all big decisions, look at what you really want the most and then look at the prices to see what you can afford and what you're willing to pass on.
