How does the audition work if you accept the role they already offered?

My daughter found out today that she was accepted and that her role is Quick Service. She can also audition on Oct. 16th for a character. If they pick her for a character then obviously she could not go quick service? Or do they have you do both??? Do you think the people that are auditioning "always" get QS? Her top 3 were merchandising, then attractions, then hospitality. Just curious. THANKS

Cast members who are face characters can also pick up shifts in other areas. Your DD would probably pick up shifts in QSFB. At least, this is what I've seen.

If your daughter goes to the audition and passes, they'll just change her from QSFB to Entertainment.

A lot of people go into the auditions already having been accepted into another role. My friend was accepted into Attractions and I was accepted into Character Attendant. When we passed the audition, Disney moved us out of these roles into the Entertainment department. If your daughter passes the audition, she won't be doing QSFB because she'll go through Character training instead.

Good luck to her at the audition! :goodvibes
