How does rope drop at Seaworld compare to Disney?

Is rope drop just as crazy as Disney World?

Not bad at all. I was there last month and was at rope drop for the back section of the park where Infinity Falls and Mako is. There were maybe 5 or 6 people waiting (this was a weekday) and I was the first person at Mako walking there and was the only rider on the first train of the day.

Are the lines to get in still crazy? We went late April and the bag check and temp check lines backed up all along the front of the parking lot and wound back to where you would normally go in. It was ridiculous. I had read a trip report where it took someone over an hour and a half to get in so we just left and had a pool day. Hoping to try again soon.
