Hi there,

My dh just surprised us with tickets last week.
This will be our 1st visit with children. It will be so neat to see Disney through their eyes. A lot of it will be new to us too as there are many new attractions.
The last time we were in Disney was when we were married there in 1995. AK didn't even exist then!
We have a 6 year old daughter and a 2 1/2 year old son.

We are staying from Mar.19th-26th.

Here is what I have planned so far:

Wed. 19th- Arrive 12:45
- Pick up car
- Check in at HIFS
- Fire in the Sky @ MK-7:15

Thurs. 20th- Spend day @ MK
- Share a Dream Come True Parade -3:00
- Dinner @ Chef Mickey's -6:45

Fri. 21st- Spend day @ Epcot
- Ice Cream Social -3:00
- Illuminations -9:00 (where is a good place to watch?)

Sat. 22nd- Spend day @ AK
- Lunch @ Rainforest Cafe- 12:00
- Jammin Jungle Parade - 4:00
- Park Hop to MK for Spectromagic-7:15

Sun. 23rd- Spend day @ MGM
- Disney's Stars & Motor Cars Parade- 4:00
- Fantasmic -7:30 (no more dinner packages, what's a
good altenative?)

Mon. 24th- Typhoon Lagoon?

Tue. 25th- Downtown Disney, Shopping?

Wed. 26th- Depart 1:40:(

How does this sound? We are very flexible and open to changes and suggestions. My daughter would love to have a Cinderella or Princess meal, but no luck so far. Any suggestions on how I can get PS for one of these on such short notice?

It looks good!
My only sugestion would be to take a break between your four park days instead of at the end of the week. You will be exhausted after a full day at each park. We usually stretch a 5 day hopper over 8 days by going every other day to a main park and then swimming at the resort, going to a water park, or shopping on the alternate days. It gives the toes a rest. ;)

Also, seeing that you are not staying onsite, you may want to go to a park that is NOT the Early magic hour park that day. At least at the MK, it gets very crowded on those two days of the week. This is the Magic hour schedule: Mon and Fri-AK Tues and Sat.-MGM Weds-Epcot Thurs and Sun.-MK

Then again I heard it hasn't been too crowded altely. Maybe you'll be fine going to MK on Thursday. Just use your fastpasses if it gets too busy!

Have a wonderful time! :)

Dadgum, CDMOM, that looks great. And Lucky4Me brings up a great point about taking the break in the middle of the trip.

I really cannot add to the original question because I think you have covered everything you wanted to. I just wanted to wish you a safe and happy trip.

Oh, and I know what you mean about seeing WDW through "their" eyes. I'm taking a 50-year-old female friend who has never been. I must admit that I am so looking forward to this trip to watch her excitement and surprise.

You might want to switch Thursday and Friday around to avoid the extra magic hour day at the MK. Also, the kids might enjoy Epcot more if they haven't already been to the MK. If you go into Epcot with MK expectations, it is hard to live up to! Have a great time!!

How about doing DTD on your arrival day? That way your kids can spend their last full day at MK instead of DTD.

When you do Epcot make sure your kids work on a mask in each country. DS was 9 when he did this and had a blast.

Enjoy your trip.
