How does it take for the skyliner to be running after a storm?

Just wanted to know how long it takes for them to start running the skyliner after a storm? Does it depend on how far away the lightening is? Do they shut it down for rain?

I don't think for just rain, but wind is a determining factor for sure. Lightning in the area would certainly shut it down.

if like other places it will probably be 30 minutes after last lightening in the area. at least that is the rule at the park I work at. can not tell you how many times we have had guests complaining because sun is shining but you can still hear thunder so everything is still closed

I don't think they shut it down for just wind. Wind and rain maybe. The first time I rode it was last year, and it was WINDY. It's a good thing I'm not really bothered by those things, because they were really swinging. I thought it was rather fun, actually.

Just a FYI-if you get to the IG Station and Skyliner is down,to get back to CBR,POP and AoA,you will be directed to the BWI Bus Depot.

The day we did that was TERRIBLE.

There were no Buses available for the Skyliner Resorts and the line stretched almost back to the Boardwalk Lobby.

People were on their Phones calling Disney and after about 45 minutes one bus showed up which isn't much for Covid Buses.

So my advice would be do a Ride Share from Beach Club or BWI-WELL worth the investment.
