How does car rental work when staying at resort

I am staying at BWV and thinking about getting a car. Do I still pay for parking at report and pay for parking into the parks??

Or is it just better to uber everywhere???

You will not pay for parking at the parks.

Did you make your BWV reservation through Disney or by a points rental company? I have not paid for parking when on rented DVC points, you do pay when on a cash reservation directly through Disney.

To address the second part of your question, I found it easier to drive to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom since there was no additional charge for parking and I did not have to worry about buses. It was not a bad walk to the other two parks. Your magic band will be scanned at the parking lots and is also used at the bypass lane for the resort.

I made the reservation through Disney- My step sister is a DVC member.

Are you staying on her points? DVC members and guests staying on points do not pay for parking, as far as I know.
