How does 'bounceback' work?

I'm not even there yet but considering taking advantage of this if it is offered to me to come back next year.

We are staying at the Poly but I would like to come back to maybe do a suite at a value resort to take my mother with us next year.

What is the bounceback and how does it work? Any tips? How far out can you book?

The way it is setup now, it is a discounted room only rate for select dates throughout the year. The discounts are pretty good, especially for Deluxe & DVC resorts. Values are 20% off, Moderates & Deluxes are 30% off, and DVC resorts are 40% off.

You have to book the stay from your hotel room phone and there is a special extension that you dial.

I would love if there was a bounceback offer while we are there in October. I would love to be able to book a bounceback offer to return for November/December next year. We would love to go during Christmas season!

I am hoping the we get offered the bounceback at the end of August like we did last year, that included rebooking for another free dining promo. We will see what this year brings, I will set aside my 200 deposit just in case.
