I've read in a few TR about people spreading their own magic at WDW, so I've been brainstorming some ideas myself.
I read about one family that passed out costume jewelry to all the children in a restaurant, various people giving out glow sticks at parades, or giving unused fast passes to someone else to use.
Any other inexpensive & fun ideas?
What do you do to spread
magic
when you are at Disney World?
I have thought about buying a few bags of dum-dums (lollipops) for my daughter
to give to other kids while waiting for parades/fireworks/in line, but is that more trouble than it's worth?? I would hate to have her offer candy to another child who happens to be diabetic or whose parent simply doesn't want them to have lots of sugar - so it would then become an issue of asking each parent around me if it's ok for their child to have it, some kids feeling left out, etc.
Maybe a bag of mixed candy and costume jewelry (I was thinking simple - some plastic rings and mardi-gras style beads, maybe silly bands if I can find a good price on them - just something fun for the kids!).
We aren't leaving until May, so I have some time to come up with a plan, but the dollar store is on my to-do-list today, so I figured I would see if I can find any fun goodies while I'm there!
