How do you spread magic?

I've read in a few TR about people spreading their own magic at WDW, so I've been brainstorming some ideas myself.

I read about one family that passed out costume jewelry to all the children in a restaurant, various people giving out glow sticks at parades, or giving unused fast passes to someone else to use.

Any other inexpensive & fun ideas?
What do you do to spread :wizard:magic :wizard:when you are at Disney World?

I have thought about buying a few bags of dum-dums (lollipops) for my daughter princess:to give to other kids while waiting for parades/fireworks/in line, but is that more trouble than it's worth?? I would hate to have her offer candy to another child who happens to be diabetic or whose parent simply doesn't want them to have lots of sugar - so it would then become an issue of asking each parent around me if it's ok for their child to have it, some kids feeling left out, etc.

Maybe a bag of mixed candy and costume jewelry (I was thinking simple - some plastic rings and mardi-gras style beads, maybe silly bands if I can find a good price on them - just something fun for the kids!).

We aren't leaving until May, so I have some time to come up with a plan, but the dollar store is on my to-do-list today, so I figured I would see if I can find any fun goodies while I'm there!

You can alway find glow sticks at the dolar store, and they are fun for girls and boys too.

food candy makes me nervous, first many have allergies, pops and safety issues...For me, the glow sticks/bracelets necklaces are great, kids and adults love them( your kid "shows up" in the throngs of people....fun to share

Or Disney type stickers for kids?

We always take a lot of glow bracelets or necklaces. We get them at the Dollar Store or on the $ aisle at Target. My kids will start the night wearing a bunch and hand them out throughout the night. They love getting to share them, as much as other kids love getting them. They pack easily in the suitcase for travel and even if we are going to be in the park for a while before dark they are small and light so they are not a problem in our park bag.

We also have always given away any leftover fast passes as we exit. DS8 was on the receiving end on our last trip. As we were leaving Fantasmic one night he was asking to ride Tower of Terror one last time (after 6 times already earlier in the day). As I was telling him we'd have to check the line, someone overheard him and offered him 2 fast passes. They were leaving and didn't need them. You would have thought she'd given him a stack of cash. He was so excited and luckily remembered his manners to thank her. I couldn't tell him no after that so he got 2 more rides in a very short perod of time.

We have done glowsticks/glow necklaces, unused FP's, unused QS meals (I just used my KTTW card for people in line that didn't have a DP for any unused QS meals we may have had), small bottles of bubbles, stickers, bandaids, silly bands (these are on clearance at our local Kroger store for $1 a pack-I got some Mickey and Princess ones for our next trip) and parachute men.:wizard:

Have fun!

We like to hand out unused FP's to people as we leave the park.

Good Morning from MN :) :thumbsup2

We do the same thing........If we have any left over .. I LOVE the glow stick idea, I might have to bring some in August!

Thanks all for the ideas! I picked up some glow stick necklaces & bracelets at the dollar store yesterday, and I'm going to look for some multicolored mardi-gras style beads at a party store. I think I'll bring along a few packages of disney stickers too!

I definitely plan to pass our unused FP to other families when we have them as well! I'm excited to get there and see how many times we can make other people smile:goodvibes:goodvibes
