How do you register for the Bday fun card?

I've read about people registering and getting an email to show when they pick it up. How does one go about doing that? I registered my DH on the AP website but found no link to register for the fun card. Help please...Thanks!

To register for the Free on Your Birthday Theme Park Admission, as well as the Alternative Gifts for Annual Pass and Multi-Day Ticket holders, visit http://www.disneyparks.com/celebrate and click on the "Free on Your Birthday" link.

This link will allow you to register for the Free on Your Birthday Theme Park Admission at both the Disneyland Resort in California and the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

I tried to register my DH but because my name is on all the Disney sites, it just wanted to do me. We share the same email address and it seems to want a different one for each person. We have APs so I've heard we can just get it at the park. They already have all his info from that.

We just got DH's fun card last week without registering first and the process was pretty quick. It would probably take a little longer if you had a park hopper instead of an AP but since they already had all his info in their system it didn't take long at all.

Thanks PinkBudgie. I bet it has something to do with the shared email address. I had to use DH's email for him to be able to register.

Thanks LavendarPeach! I got him registered so we'll see how it goes...

You don't need the email just so you know, you can just go in and show your proof of bday and you'll be good to go. :)

I forgot about that! Of course, I forget his birthday for a few days too. :rolleyes1 Where did you go to get his card?

We went to guest services outside DL. Our original plan was to go to guest services at DCA since someone said it's not as busy over there but we got to DLR before DCA opened so we figured their GS wouldn't be open yet either. We almost went to the ticket booths because there was no one there yet but we hesitated since we were surprised to find no line there and a crowd of people rushed up ahead of us. At GS we only had 2 families in front of us. The first family took awhile because they decided to get the birthday fastpasses and had to decide which rides they wanted.
