how do you plan PS without the hrs posted?

as you may be aware PS can be made 90 days ahead
Feb would be for May -
but the hrs arent out yet
how do you go about making your PSs?

I just plan where we want to eat at the time we normally eat dinner. Then, if I see that the hours are different I just call back and try to book another time or if that's impossible we just weigh how much we really want to eat there. That's what we had to do for 50's Prime Time. Had a PS for 6:45 and the park closed at 7. The boat captain told us that the last boat back was at 7:30 so we HAD to be at the boat dock by then or walk back to the YC We changed our dinner to the only restaurant that we could get a PS for Cape May, which we had just eaten 2 nights earlier.

I go my last year's hours and take a chance from there. MK is the only real variable. Epcot, MGM & AK have pretty consistent hours from year to year (for the month in question). We usually do not eat late, so the closing time isn't a factor.

I'm making my PS's this week and its been a royal pain in the you know where, LOL!!!! I will probably end up changing some. The CM's I've spoken to gives me the hours for that day, but I wonder if they are official or if they are just going on history.

Park hours don't make too much of a difference for me but the Extra Magic Hours really will.

This makes me nuts being a crazed PS planner! I also estimate the hours based on previous years. I always end up making changes when the hours are finally published. It never fails though...MK hours still end up being changed even after they are published. Sometimes the hours given by the CMs on the phone don't match the hours on the official website. That is really fun. Ohhhh...that venting felt good! Sorry folks...just my pet peeve...

I usually go by the hours from the previous year. Then tweak them if need be once the official hours are released.

I am going by last year's May schedule and the current EMH data. I am making a couple of extra PS reservations so that I can allow a little bit of flexibility if Disney announces a major change. I have a draft and I am making PS seatings this week. I got CRT so I feel like I can relax a bit now.
