LOL We are going the beginning of March. I'm way too excited. First trip with all of us. The 2 yr old will be a blast, the others remember our last trip and will be so thrilled to find out we are going again. We haven't told them yet. We are splurging and staying at the DLH instead of at the Tropicana this time. I've read all there is, all I can, and I'M READY! Now....how to make the next 2 1/2 months go by fast? Try to forget about it? It's like the last month of a pregnancy. It's going to take FOREVER! If I keep thinking about it, I'm sure I'll end up with more questions.

I felt the same exact way, except I left a few details to be planned within the last couple weeks, such as WOC and Firework/PTN plan. Mostly because I wanted to get more recent info from others on the boards here. Then I just read they recent trip reports and focused on making sure I purchased everything for the drive down and stuff. Also tried to look at maps, so I would know my way around the park (didn't help lol).
Good luck and have fun!!

I buy too much Disney themed crap and fill my suitcases way too far ahead of time! Haha, and I have plenty of time to purchase and pack things I will not remember to use or need for my trip!

I'm in the same boat! We leave on March 5, and I'm so excited I could explode. I made our reservations a year ago, but I haven't told the kids. They will get the announcement in a huge box filled with disney balloons on Christmas morning. Maybe once they know, time will move faster? I keep thinking about how every year it feels like as soon as Christmas is over, Valentine's Day is here in the blink of an eye. Maybe it will pass by quickly...but not quickly enough!!

Once your kids know about the trip it would be fun to make a paper chain or some other fun countdown the family could do together. I've also done marbles in a jar...removing one every day.

I put a countdown app on my phone, and rotate disneyland pictures as a background on my phone. It doesn't make the time go faster, but it gets me excited!

And when you have time, go for a walk and get those walking muscles ready!

I'm going the same time as you...arriving March 1. I pass the time by reading this board. lol

I cannot stand the waiting! Starting to put together my pre-trip report so the veterans can pick it apart. :)

Watch Disney movies! We watched Cars, Peter Pan (my kids hadn't seen it) and we went at Halloweentime so we watched Nightmare Before Christmas and read the Halloween Tree.

I totally hear you, our trip isn't until June (this will be our second DLR trip) and to pass the time I spend a lot of time on the DL DISboards getting wonderful information and watching a ton of DLR YouTube videos. Since this is a birthday trip for my DD12, DD14 and I have done a lot planning when the other DD isn't around...all we have to do is wait until it is time to book our ADRs. We are all so excited for this trip, I am going to WDW in February with some friends and I am hardly thinking about that trip, I am more excited and thinking about our June trip instead.
