and yes Pin Wizard, I am in my 20's...22.... so I guess I'm not too worried yet...yet....

Then I have no doubt you just haven't met the right woman yet! I'll let you in on a little secret - as women get a little older they learn what is really important in a man. They are not the same qualities that attract girls in their teens. I bet you will be a hot commodity!

I've met guys through friends, and at the store but the best I've met is online through eHarmony

I've thought about joining PWP. Not to meet a guy but just to meet another mom and kids so dd7 and I have someone to do things with. It's hard meeting people to do stuff with. I feel like I need to get connected somewhere so I don't feel so isolated.
PW- Why do you avoid PWP?

I met my gf through a college hockey message board on the web. We started talking on IM, then progressed to phone calls, finally met in person after almost a year of talking on the phone basically every day, and have been "officially" together for 4 months now. (Unofficially it's more like we've been dating for about 10 or 11 months, just that I don't believe in asking someone out over phone or IM)

Well my dear, I hope your right...I believe you are, and I'm just now returning to a point in my life where I can try and put myself in good social situations again. So here's hoping your right.

Thanks, cyn. Honestly, I guess that's a big part of why I'm happy with the way things are. I've got a terrific daughter that loves to spend time with me (wait til she's 14 and doesn't want to be seen with me!). Anything else is gravy after that
