I was taught to make them with sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, and miracle whip. With paprika on top, of course. I've since added a few squirts of dijon mustard and salt and pepper but that's it.

I saw a recipe in Kraft foods that called for cream cheese... but I haven't tried it yet.

What do you use in your deviled eggs?

hmm... I think when I make them (which is almost never!) , I do it about the same. Yellow mustard, pickle relish, and best foods/hellman's (no miracle whip blagggh!). No paprika just b/c I think it's gross.

I imagine there are tons of ways of making them...

Mayo, tiny bit of mustard, salt and pepper. I'll be making them next week!

I make them all the time...They're delicious.

I make them with Mayo (Kraft), A tad bit of Dijon mustard, Salt and Pepper, and Paprika in the mix and on top.

Very simple but yummy in flavor, you should try it my way.

I had to share this because I read it in a dining mag.

If you store the egg carton upside down in the fridge apparently your deviled eggs will be perfectly centered.

Yea...surprised me.

Duke's Mayonnaise or Blue Plate Mayonnaise
French's Mustard
Garlic Salt & Nature's Seasoning
Worcheshire Sauce

That's how I make mine. No paprika on top for me...I'm not too crazy about it.

DH requests these quite often. I use real mayo, sweet pickle relish and a wee bit of their juice, finely diced onion and diced celery, a dash of mustard, salt and pepper. DH insists on the tops being sprinkled with paprika. Have used chili powder or ground red pepper when out of paprika. He never seems to notice the difference. ;)

I made them with sour cream and cream cheese once and neither of us cared for them. Seemed very bland somehow.

1.) Take carton of eggs to aunts house
2.) Pick up finished product

Honestly I don't like the smell of them :scared: so I always buy everything and have her make them for parties and such. Everyone says they are the best and she says she doesn't mind so that is my recipe :rolleyes1

I use a tiny bit of Kraft mayo and a LOT of mustard. Nothing else except maybe a tiny sprinkle of paprika on top for garnish.

Mayo, salt, pepper, a dash of vinegar (I thought that was the "devil" part of the deviled eggs - I'm surprised no one else has mentioned it) and some horseradish if I have it.

I've never seen relish in deviled eggs either. That ingredient surprises me.

Salad dressing, salt, pepper, sugar, and a dash of french dressing. Paprika on top.

I don't like mustard or pickle relish, so don't use them.

I make them like everyone else...mayo, mustard, salt and pepper...relish if I have it.

My cousin puts finely grated onion and bacon in hers...oh my, soooooo good! :)

I luvvvvv my deviled eggs!

Here's what I put in:

mayo
sour cream
dijonnaise
horseradish sauce
BACON

The bacon is what makes them soooooo good. They're extremely creamy and the horseradish sauce adds just a bit of a bite.

Hellmans, dijon, sweet relish, paprika(what's the big deal, I can't taste it anyway! lol) I always store the eggs upside down before I cook them for a centered yolk AND I ice bath them to cool so they'll peel easily.

Same here with the vinegar and no relish (but I might try that.) Love paprika, never do horsradish. :confused3

You guys are making me hungry.

I use Miracle whip, mustard salt and pepper and dill pickle juice. I don't like sweet pickles at all so would never use relish...

Some of these recipes sound good though. never thought of horseradish.. hummm that sounds good. I like a little bite. Might just have to try that.
