How do you make a park reservation from the hotel bucket and not your pass?

Going with a friend who has a Believe key. We want to go July 16-19 but she's blocked the 16th. I have a reservation for that day with my Dream key. We have a hotel reservation at DLH, so how does she access that bucket? Thanks.

I don't believe you can access the hotel bucket with a key that is blocked. You have to have a valid ticket for the day to access the bucket - so either a day ticket or one of the keys that is not blocked.

Since the Believe Key is blocked on the 16th, she will be unable to use her pass to get in. She will have to buy a one-day ticket if she wants to go that day. The hotel bucket only gives you access to reservations on most days that reservations are unavailable for tickets and Keys. It will not allow you to make a reservation on a day a pass is blocked out.

Do they ever unblock the passes the night before or would we just need to get a 1-day ticket? She lives nearby (Huntington Beach). I just added her name to my hotel res thinking maybe she could get in that way.

Very very very rarely. The only time I’ve seen blockout dates change was in June 2019 when SWGE opened and the parks were empty.

The Enchant key is blocked out June 10-August 14, 2022. If you are staying at the hotel and making park reservations on an unblocked day beyond that period, I would assume you could reserve from the hotel bucket at 120 days out (although I'm not 100% certain).

I don't think they would unblock any of the blockout dates on the calendar (every Saturday in July blocked for Believe key). So you either need the one day ticket or to just focus on July 17-19.

That's normally what we'd do, but that may be the date we end up getting a Club 33 reservation....

Believe keys are blocked Saturdays in July.

She will need a day ticket to go that day.

Thanks for all the help, guys! She didn't even realize she was blocked on Saturdays. My calendar doesn't show her blocked days because the one I saved is for my Dream key and it didn't dawn on me that I was only seeing the calendar for mine.
