I'd like to put some dort of label on th eoutside of my books & on the spine to make it easier at a glance to tell whats inside.
mostly the year - year and dsceription like "jan2 2008 disney trip"
nothing much 3-d , just to lay flat . are there labels to print that would look nice? I looking into some doe cut letters, but there was not much choice on numbers,, and how do you get those things straight anyway,
I suppose a regular mailing label would do, but doen't want the front of album to be yucky.

thanks

I just label the spines of my books with my Brother P-Touch labeler. If the album is a dark color I like to use the white labels, so I can see it easily. If the album is a light color, I use the clear labels with black lettering. Since most of my albums are for my kids, I use their name and either the year (if it is a chronological album) or the vacation/date. For example....
"George -WDW 2005" or " Susan - 2005" Really basic but it let me know what I am grabbing off the shelf. I don't label the front covers. My vacation albums have a "cover page" but I've never bother to do so with my chronological albums. Maybe I should........................P
