How do you hold booking?

I'm thinking about taking advantage of the villa suite at PBH and to hold the room would be the 1st nights stay which is a little over 700. (The huge amount is for a suite) I thought awhile back that I saw that people booked without paying such the 1st night. How do you do that?

It used to be that if you booked online, Loews rarely charged your card for the deposit. However, that has changed since they updated their databases last year. I know that our past few online reservations have had the deposit charged, so it is not so much a sure thing anymore.

The upside is that the deposit is 100% refundable up to 5 days before you leave.

Thank you, I'm still trying to talk the big guy into a June vaca and he would flip if he knew I had charged $700 to the Visa right after Christmas.
